This year we’re encouraging hosts to make a donation to the Hamilton Dream Centre, we suggest 20% of the proceeds of your sale. About the Event Organizers

Laura Vandette
Laura Vandette is a REALTOR® who lives, works, and plays in Crown Point with her husband, their pooch Leo, and their wonderful Hamilton neighbours. One of her personal and professional goals is to participate in and contribute to the community they live in. In 2016, Laura decided to organize a community garage sale in Crown Point, and it has really taken off.
The idea for this event came from Ottawa’s Great Glebe Garage Sale and from the community garage sale that Hamilton’s Sherman Hub used to host when she and her husband lived in that neighbourhood in 2012. Laura can't express how much she enjoyed the sense of community during those events! Her sincere hope is to create a similar experience for their neighbourhood through the Crown Point Garage Sale and Fundraiser and the Crown Point Music Crawl.
